A round of intermediate and junior club hurling championships will take place as planned in Kilkenny next weekend, despite the All-Ireland final going to a replay.

However, Kilkenny chiefs have decided to postpone all senior games scheduled for the following weekend due to the fact that the All-Ireland final replay has been fixed for the following Saturday, September 27. Those games will now be played after the replay.

Meanwhile, tonight's planned homecoming for the Kilkenny senior and minor teams has also been postponed. Instead, the victorious minor team will be feted with the senior team after their replay against Tipperary.

Brian Cody's charges opted to travel home, rather than spend the night in Dublin, after yesterday's dramatic draw.
