Cats bring in Hogan brothers
May 05, 2012

Kilkenny's Richie Hogan and Paddy Stapleton of Tipperary.
The Hogan brothers, Richie and Paddy, have been recalled to the Kilkenny team for tomorrow's Allianz Hurling League final against Cork at Thurles.
Richie returns at right half forward after suffering a collapsed lung in the facile win over Galway on April 1, while in a second change from the semi-final defeat of Clare, older brother Paddy will partner Michael Fennelly at midfield. Paddy's inclusion at midfield sees Cillian Buckley move to the half forward line.
The All-Ireland champions are planning with the injured quintet of Henry Shefflin, Noel Hickey, Richie Power, Michael Rice and Aidan Fogarty for what will be the first league final between the traditional rivals since 2002 when Kilkenny prevailed on a 2-15 to 2-14 scoreline.
Kilkenny (SH v Cork): D Herity; P Murphy, JJ Delaney, J Tyrrell; T Walsh, B Hogan, R Doyle; M Fennelly, P Hogan; R Hogan, TJ Reid, C Buckley; C Fennelly, E Larkin (captain), M Ruth.
