All-Ireland champions Kilkenny will play Offaly in a SH challenge to mark the official opening of Clara GAA's new playing facilities on Sunday, May 20.

The game will form the centrepiece of what promises to be a wonderful occasion for a club that holds the distinction of being the oldest in Leinster. The new ground on the Kilbeggan Road comprises two full-sized pitches, a training pitch, three smaller pitches and a hurling wall.

New GAA president Liam O'Neill will perform the official opening of Pairc Prionsias at 6pm, which will be followed by the clash of Kilkenny and Offaly at 6.30pm. Tweet
