All-Ireland champions are coming to Clara
May 04, 2012
All-Ireland champions Kilkenny will play Offaly in a SH challenge to mark the official opening of Clara GAA's new playing facilities on Sunday, May 20.
The game will form the centrepiece of what promises to be a wonderful occasion for a club that holds the distinction of being the oldest in Leinster. The new ground on the Kilbeggan Road comprises two full-sized pitches, a training pitch, three smaller pitches and a hurling wall.
New GAA president Liam O'Neill will perform the official opening of Pairc Prionsias at 6pm, which will be followed by the clash of Kilkenny and Offaly at 6.30pm.
