Hogan makes early return
April 30, 2012

Kilkenny's Richie Hogan and Paddy Stapleton of Tipperary.
Kilkenny's Richie Hogan could feature in next Sunday's Allianz Hurling League final against Cork after making an earlier-than-expected return to action yesterday.
Hogan lined out at wing forward for his club Danesfort in their senior league game against Ballyhale Shamrocks - just four weeks after breaking two ribs and suffering a punctured lung in Kilkenny's trouncing of Galway at Nowlan Park.
The news comes as Cats boss Brian Cody anxiously awaits the results of a scan on Richie Power's injured knee. Power suffered suspected knee ligament damage after falling awkwardly during Carrickshock's meeting with James Stephens on Saturday night and could be ruled out for the rest of the season.
He underwent cryotheraphy sessions at White's Hotel, Wexford yesterday and will meet with top knee surgeon Tadhg O'Sullivan in Waterford later today to discover the extent of the injury.
