Kilkenny hurler Tommy Walsh has finally met his match after he married his long time girlfriend.

Walsh, who is arguably the greatest hurler of his generation, married Marlis Coonan in Muckalee Parish Church on Friday last, December 30th.

The Tullaroan hurler has amassed an amazing medal haul during his inter county career, winning All-Stars for the last eight consecutive years.

The happy couple are currently enjoying their honeymoon in Mexico and Jamaica before Tommy returns to hard training with the rest of the Kilkenny squad. Tweet
