Kilkenny's Brian Hogan
Following the devastating news the Henry Shefflin will miss the All-Ireland SHC decider, Kilkenny have received a timely boost in the knowledge that Brian Hogan will be fit for the final.

Both Shefflin and Hogan were forced off through injury during the comfortable win over Cork last weekend and both were rated doubtful for the final next month.

Shefflin's cruciate ligament injury has dominated the headlines over the last couple of days, but Brian Cody will be pleased the impressive Hogan will be fit.

The talented centre back damaged the AC joint in his shoulder, but scans revealed that the damage wasn't too serious, while Michael Rice, who was introduced as a late substitute against Cork will also be fit to face either Waterford or Tipperary.
