No hope for Tennyson

Kilkenny's John Tennyson
Kilkenny defender John Tennyson feels there has been improvement in the leg injury he picked up last weekend but still hold out no hope of being fit for Sunday's Leinster SHC semi-final against Dublin.
The Carrickshock man suffered a tear to the quad muscle in his left leg during the last round of league games and has been unable to train since.
"I have no hope," Tennyson told the Kilkenny People.
"Maybe, with luck, I might be able to do a bit of jogging next week, but I have no chance of being involved this time."
Tennyson is currently resting to try and recover from the injury but until a specialist is able to discover the exact nature of the tear the specific course of treatment cannot be decided.
"Apparently this is a most unusual injury," he explained. "I am caught badly when I try to run and the pain can be severe when I twist or turn. I feel there has been a slight improvement, so hopefully next week I might be able to increase my workload."
