Tipperary's Conor O'Brien tries to stop the progress of Eddie Brennan during the NHL Division 1 final at Thurles
Eddie Brennan could well make his first appearance in a Kilkenny jersey since last year's thrilling All-Ireland SHC final victory over Tipperary this Sunday when the two teams clash again in the NHL.

Brennan returned to training with Brian Cody's team last night for the first this year after getting married and going on his honeymoon recently and the Graig-Ballycallan attacker is hoping to play apart at Semple Stadium this weekend.

"It's probably important for Tipp to lay down a marker (to show) where they are at this year so they will be under a decent bit of pressure this year," said Brennan.

"They progressed and got to the All-Ireland final and I suppose there is only one thing left for them to do now. Sunday will be a test of where both teams are."
