Cloneen 2-6 Conahy Shamrocks 1-6 A superb goal from Padraig Dowd saw Cloneen snatch the points off Conahy Shamrocks last Saturday in a closely contested game in the northern junior B league. The winners goat off to the perfect start here when Brennain Buggy netted in an early goal, but the Shamrocks would fight back and hit a major of their own when corner-forward Sean Delaney was put through on goal, which left them trailing by 1-4 to 1-2 at the interval. After that it was tit for tat in the second-half, with both sides exchanging point, until Buggy released Dowd for a superb finish past Andy O'Keefe five minutes from time to secure both points.
