"Best day of my life so far anyway! The feeling is just unbelievable. Four Leinster final defeats... it's a fair achievement for that team to come back. You know, we were called 'Oulart, the bottlers'. We were called everything!"

Veteran Oulart-The Ballagh defender Keith Rossiter outlined his delight after the final whistle in Netwatch Cullen Park.

"They were worthy winners, the better team on the day. The goals were pivotal. They controlled the ball very well in the last 15 minutes and showed all of their experience."

Cuala manager Mattie Kenny took his hat off to the men from Wexford.

"It was some battle. In some ways it was good to watch, in others, maybe it wasn't. It was frenetic stuff towards the end."

Oisin McConville and John McEntee guided Crossmaglen to an 11th Ulster Club SFC success.

"When Cross had their opportunity to put us to the sword they did. When we had chances to put them away at the end of normal time, we didn't take it. That's what makes Cross so good."

Scotstown had their chances but they weren't ruthless enough according to manager Mattie McGleenan.

"It's never done with us."

Michael Quinlivan is the toast of Clonmel after his match winning heroics against Nemo Rangers.

"That group is unbelievable. Does it surprise me? No it doesn't. Could you say it was over? No you could not because that is what we have done all year. Today we lacked that experience in the end, we showed that a little bit in the last ten minutes. But the spirit of that team - they never give up."

Charlie McGeever hailed his side's never-say-die spirit.

"One mistake and they get the goal. You can't come back that late in the game."

There was no way back for Nemo Rangers and manager Steven O'Brien.

"These lads are on the run for a good number of weeks now. They have put in a good shift. A lot of people are saying they are tired, but the more ball they are playing, the sweeter their game is."

Maurice Fitzgerald and St Mary's got their hands on Munster Club IFC silverware on Saturday.

"As a county hurler I realise the ability of the GPA, through the Development Programme, to make a profound difference to the lives of players who need to achieve balance in their lives due to the commitments involved in their sport."

Limerick All-Star Seamus Hickey was elected chairman of the GPA.
