Murphy points to strength in depth

Kildare under-21 manager Brian Murphy believes they will need everyone in the squad to beat Dublin in this week's Leinster final.

The sides meet in Navan on Thursday night as Kildare take on the reigning Leinster and All-Ireland champions.

Murphy's charges have looked impressive in their games so far as they have defeated Offaly and Meath to reach the final.

"Players that did not start against Meath were disappointed but did well when they came in; but this is all about the panel, players come in for different reasons and out for different reasons, you need a strong panel, which we have," Murphy told the Leinster Leader.

"God knows I spent enough of my time as a player on the bench to know that but we must remain positive and give it our all in the final against Dublin and I'm sure we will and we are all now looking forward to it."
