Holders Kildare will host Dublin in next Sunday's O'Byrne Cup final after easing to victory over DIT at Newbridge.

Jason Ryan's men signalled their intent by racing into a 0-6 to 0-0 lead before Conor Madden got the students off the mark in the 10th minute. DIT reduced the arrears before Eoghan O'Flaherty set up Seamus Hanafin for a 29th minute goal which gave the Lilywhites a 1-11 to 0-5 lead at half-time.

O'Flaherty himself found the net nine minutes after the restart after Madden had kiced two points for DIT on the resumption. Podge Fogarty and O'Flaherty tagged on further scores as the hosts cruised to a 12-point win.
