Moorefield manager Luke Dempsey has had to delay a planned trip to New York by a few days following last Sunday's drawn Kildare SFC final.

Luke, who is a teacher in St. Joseph's, Rochfortbridge, was due to fly out to the Big Apple to visit his daughter tomorrow, but has had to postpone his flight until after Sunday's replay between Moorefield and Sarsfields at St. Conleth's Park.

Dempsey's charges, who are the defending champions, came from five points down with 11 minutes remaining to snatch a draw with their great Newbridge rivals last Sunday.
