Junior C championship report

Robert Emmetts played the second round of the championship away to Kill on Saturday evening.Kill got off to a flying start scoring 1.05 in the opening 15 minutes before Emmetts got on the scoreboard . Halftime saw Kill well in control on a scoreline of 1.07 to Emmetts 0.02 . The second half saw Robert Emmetts defend much better holding on to the ball in tackles and scoring some fine points with Rebecca Mccormack scoring 1.04 . The Kill keeper Aoife Goodwin and full back Aoife Mangan had to work hard to keep Emmetts out. The final score was Kill 1.10 to Emmetts 1.07.
Aoife Raggett had great game for Emmetts with Shelly Kirwin and Aimee Bagnall and Angela Kenny also putting in a fine performance for Robert Emmetts. Jenny and Aisling Cahill Michalea Kavanagh and Lydia Furey all played well for Kill.
