Kildare minor select Brian Leacy is confident that they can retain their Leinster MFC title on Sunday.

The Lilywhites face a tough test against Dublin in the decider this weekend, but Leacy stressed to the Leinster Leader that Kildare have prepared well.

"It's great to be back in a Leinster final but when you get to a final you have to win them," said Leacy. "From a development point of view it's great for these guys.

"Playing in Croke Park, in that atmosphere, is great for them. At under-21 level a lot of them don't even get to play in Croke Park so it's invaluable to them at minor level especially if they go on to play senior for Kildare for the next 13 or 14 years." Tweet
