Ballymore Eustace have agreed to former Kildare footballer James Kavanagh's transfer request.

Kavanagh has been living in Galway for the past few years and it has been widely known that he was considering a move to the west.

The 27-year-old is set to join Milltown in Galway over the coming weeks and speculation is growing that he may line out for the Tribesmen in the near future also.

Ballymore Eustace will begin life without Kavanagh this weekend when they take on Sarsfields in the opening round of the Kildare senior football championship. Tweet
