Congratulations to our U-16 ladies for giving a cracking performance in their division 4 championship final on the 4th of May, they led all throughout the game but a final surge from St. Brigids brought them level. Then in the in the dying minutes they scored a goal to win by three points. It was a thrilling match to watch and our ladies should be very proud of themselves as they left everything on the pitch.
Monasterevan would like to thank all who supported the 'Predict the Score' competition for the NFL final between Kildare & Tyrone, it was a great success. Unfortunately nobody guessed the score on the day; the winners of the backup draw of €50 each were Breda Lawlor, Wayne Harrington, Murphy c/o Christly Dempsey.
