Lotto
There was no winner in the lotto held on Tues 1st May. Numbers were 11,18, 25 and 28. Winners of €50 were Damien Patterson, Seller - Seamus Dowling, Mary Reddy, c/o Sue Ryders Carlow. Seller - Castle Inn, PS Dowling, Castleroe West. Seller - Seamus Dowling and Clare Ralph, Idrone Pk, Carlow. Seller - Gun club. Next draw will take place on 8th May in the Dales. Jackpot €6600.

Mens football
The intermediates had the narrowest of victories over Eadestown winning out on a scoreline of 0-13 to 0-12. This was a very tight game and Castledermot were leading 0-8 to 0-4 at half time after playing with a strong wind. Eadestown came back strong but Castledermot held onto the margin. Best for Castledermot were Emmet O' Keeffe and Dean Farrell. Paddy Mahon excelled on free taking duties. Next up for the lads is a home game against Suncroft on Sunday 13th May at 3pm. The juniors had a good win over Kilcullen and won out on a scoreline of 1-18 to 2-8. Next up for the lads is Rathangan away on Monday 14th May.
Scorers for the juniors were Murt Farrell 1-4, David Byrne 0-4, Mikey Wall 0-3, Mark Quigley 0-2, Paul Lawler 0-2, Aidan Murphy, Damien Whelan, Mark Kirwan and Stephen O'Brien 0-1 each.

Underage Training
U12 raining has moved to Monday nights at 7pm. U11 training is on Wednesdays at 5.30pm. Under 10,9,8,7 & 6 training is on a Saturday morning at 10.30.

Field Day
The GAA are organising a monster field day this year on Sunday 15th July. Mark the date in your diary. It is the Sunday between the Leinster Hurling Final and the Leinster Football Final. Watch this space for the events.

Ladies football
The ladies have been going from strength to strength in their 2012 league campaign. Their most recent win was against Kildangan Nurney and the girls won out on a scoreline of 3-6 to 3-4. Best on the night were Siobhan Byrne in goals, Laura Byrne, Shauna Doyle and Betsy Kwiatkowski. Scores came from Shauna Doyle 1-4, Sinead Deering 2-0, Jackie Whelan 0-1 and Betsy Kwiatkowski 0-1. This win puts the girls top of the table and next up is an away game against Rathangan on Tues 8th May.
