The club sent out a request to all its members to see if there would be people interested in forming an underage committee. The club has grown a huge amount in the last couple of years and it was becoming difficult for the main committee to keep track of all the goings on in the club so we felt that an underage committee would be of huge benefit to all the younger members. The first meeting was held during the week and the officers elected were Chairman: Tommy Curran Vice Chairman: Eoghan O Neill Secretary: Karrie Grant PRO: Dermot Lawler Committee: Jason Coughlan Tom Ryan Evelyn Conlon Ernie Colton Brendan Lacey Noel Kehoe Tony Kerins Darran Fogarty Patrick Whyte Ann Sealey Chris Supple David Coady

Ballykelly held their underage presentation to their U12 Ladies division 1 winners and their U12 Boys Bord na Nog winners from 2011 on Friday evening. Many thanks to the many coaches who worked with these teams and also to all the players and their parents who always made sure the boys and girls were available for training and games. Thanks to Ronan Sweeney, Daryll Flynn and Donna Berry who took t...ime out from preparations with their respective teams to come down to present medals to all the players. Thanks to DJ Gavin for providing the music on the night as well. DJ Gavin will be returning to the clubhouse on the 10th February for another underage disco. Hope to see such a large turnout again.

Congratulations to our own Ailish Heavey who has made it through the trials for this years Kildare U16 Ladies team and has now been confirmed to the panel for 2012. Well done Ailish from everyone in the club.
