Rheban club notes

Rheban GFC members and players held a fundraiser outside the gates of the Kildare V Dublin match on Sunday all in aid of the Luke Renehan fund.The fundraiser was a great success with well over 2000e collected,on behalf of the Rheban club and the Renehan family we would like to acknowledge the fantastic generosity of the Kildare and Dublin fans and thank them wholeheartedly for their support.Rheban GFC would also like to thank the Kildare County Board for their kind permission and support, also a special thank you must go to the members and players who collected on the day, well done to all.Remember folks this week sees another busy weekend for the club with the rescheduled AGM taking place on Friday the 27th at 8pm in the Athy Town Hall,all members and intending members are invited to attend.The Charity 10k/5k takes place on Saturday 28th with the race due to start at 11am we have a 10k or 5k course which you can walk or run entry fee is only 10e
and all proceeds go to the Luke Renehan Fund.All welcome (must be over 16),we also invite local clubs to come and take part as well,no matter you're sport it will be a great days exercise and all for a great cause.If you require more details please contact James Lawler on 085 7481095,plenty of parking available.With our u15s and 16s back training every Monday and Thursday at 6 the start of the 16s league has been set for Feb 24th teams to be announced,all new members are welcome, also the underage section shall recommence in the next few weeks and we will inform parents asap.
