St Kevin's GAA Club Notes
23 November 2009The under 15 team qualified for the division 3 league Shield semi final with an outstanding 6-10 to 2-4 win over Oliver Plunkett's last Sunday morning in Staplestown.They had great performances from Ciaran McMahon, Declan Flaherty, Ryan Casey, Robert Beirne and Kevin O' Brien.
Two one night courses for new referees up to under 13 level will be held in Naas and Kilcock on Thursday, November 26th. A foundation course will take place in January, which will be a four night course. Anyone interested should contact Alice Casey at 0868325358.
The AGM will take place in the clubhouse on Friday, December 13th at 7.30pm.All are welcome.
There are still a few tickets remaining for the private members draw which will be held on Saturday, December 12th.The first prize is 13,000 and over 25,000 in total in prize money to be won. Tickets cost 130 and are available from any committee member.
There was no winner of the Coill Dubh/St Kevin's jackpot on Tues Nov 17.The numbers drawn were 7, 14, 16, 17. 40 winners were Gerry Kelly, Timahoe; Kathleen Kenna, c/o Dinny Baker; Roisin, c/o Sam Young; David Casey, Staplestown.Next Tuesday's jackpot is 13,200.
