SFL Div 1 our 1st team played Johnstownbridge last Tuesday night in Johnstownbridge and won with a score of 1-12 to 0-13.
In our final 2 league games we play fellow Intermediate Teams Rathangan on Tuesday 30th June in Rathangan and our final Division 1 game for this year is at home to Kilcullen on Saturday 11th July at 7.30pm.
Adult Training takes place every Tuesday and Thursday night from 7.30 in the pitch all are welcome.
Our 2nd team play Moorefield away on Monday 6th July at 7pm and our 3rd team play Clogherinkoe away also on Monday 6th July at 7pm.
U8s hosted Ballymore last Saturday in a great sporting games for all who took part. Training for our Under 6's and Under 8's continues on Friday evenings at 6.30. All are welcome so please feel free to come along.
U10s have qualified for Division 3 in Phase 2 and train each Tuesday at 6:30pm.
U12s are preparing for League Final V Round Towers or Castledermot.
U14s gave a great performance at home last Friday to league leaders Rathangan and despite scoring 2 - 13 lost by 5 points in a great game of football. The game was ideal preparation for the National Feile competition next weekend.
On Friday we play host to St Patricks of Fermanagh in the first Feile game at 2:45pm. On Saturday we play North London at 9.30am and finish the games in our group playing Round Towers at 11.45am. Congratulations to Liam Broughan who won the internal skills competition and now goes forward to represent the club in the group skills competition at 11am on Saturday.
On Saturday night we host a disco, BBQ and a Ballad Session for all Feile players, supporters and mentors from our club and from St Patricks. We also welcome the Ballykelly boys and girls teams plus their visiting teams (boys from Wicklow, girls from Armagh) to the club in what should be a night for all to enjoy and remember.
The Under 16's have resumed training in preparation for the championship beginning in August in which they drew Celbridge away.
Registration for the VHI Cúl Summer Camp is underway, next Registration date will be Friday 24th July. Camp dates are Aug 4th to Aug 7th and it runs each day from 10am to 2:30pm. Open to all primary school children, boys and girls, whether a member or non-member and all are welcome. It costs only 50, with family reductions for 2 or more children, and represents the best value summer camp in town. Ideally placed in the mid-summer and in the middle of school holidays.
