As the last match has finished we can look back at a highly successful year in Ballykelly our senior lads comfortably retained intermediate status our senior ladies captured a div3 title minor ladies won their C championship at juvenile we contested 4 girls finals winning 3 In the boys section we contested 2 finals but fell just short and the u10 boys won division 2 outright Building of the new clubhouse in our new premises is just weeks away from starting we'll keep everyone posted on how things are going The u10 boys were presented with their medals on saturday after a trip to the cinema a total of 42 children made the trip and finally got their hands on their long awaited div 2 medals hopefully its the first of many medals for these children well done The u11 girls came up short in the div 4 final against Castledermot on saturday despite leading by 4 points at half time they ran out of steam in the second half with only 2 girls being overage for this group next year the future looks promising well done girls No winner of this weeks jackpot of E11'600 E20 winners were Caroline Porter,Mary Sheehan,Mary Kaye,Eddie o Rourke,Sean Flaherty next weeks jackpot E11,800 THE UNDER 15 GIRLS CAPTURED THE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW BEATING ELLISTOWN 2-12 TO 1-5.IT WAS A FABOULOUS ALL ROUND TEAM PERFORMANCE ESPECIALLY IN THE FIRST HALF WHEN THEY DISPLAYED SOME OF THIER BEST FOOTBALL OF THE SEASON. ALTHOUGH NERVES BEGAN TO SHOW IN THE SECOND HALF AS THEY COULD SEE THE WINNING POST IN SIGHT THEY DUG DEEP AND FENDED OFF ANY POSSIBLE COMEBACK FROM THIER OPPOSITION WELL DONE TO ALL THESE YOUNG PLAYERS,THEY CERTAINLY WORE THE CLUB COLOURS WITH PRIDE.
