The under 11 girls had a very impressive win over Confey this morning and have now secured thier place in the final. They become the sixth ladies team from Ballykelly to reach finals this year and the omens are looking good as the four already played have all been won THE UNDER 15 GIRLS CAPTURED THE CHAMPIONSHIP FOR THE SECOND YEAR IN A ROW BEATING ELLISTOWN 2-12 TO 1-5.IT WAS A FABOULOUS ALL ROUND TEAM PERFORMANCE ESPECIALLY IN THE FIRST HALF WHEN THEY DISPLAYED SOME OF THIER BEST FOOTBALL OF THE SEASON. ALTHOUGH NERVES BEGAN TO SHOW IN THE SECOND HALF AS THEY COULD SEE THE WINNING POST IN SIGHT THEY DUG DEEP AND FENDED OFF ANY POSSIBLE COMEBACK FROM THIER OPPOSITION WELL DONE TO ALL THESE YOUNG PLAYERS,THEY CERTAINLY WORE THE CLUB COLOURS WITH PRIDE. With football on the lads side of the club finished for the year we can look back on another good season where at underage level we reacher the semi final or final of all competitions entered. At adult level we comfortably retained our intermediate status having been premoted last year so over all we have had a good season.
