Under 8's Kildangan under 8's and 6's braved icy conditions to take part in a series of challenge games in Monasterevin on Saturday. Both teams were well entertained by the hosts, and some lovely football was on display by both clubs. This finishes the football for the year and the children will have a well earned rest before training resumes next spring. Under 11 Girls Kildangan Nurney girls travelled to Moorefield Saturday morning and after a great game of free flowing football emerged victorious on a scoreline of 4:03 to Moorefields 3:03. Next outing is at home to Ellistown, Saturday at 12 noon. Under 13 Girls Kildangan Nurney Girls Under 13's secured a comprehensive win against Round Towers Sunday Morning. In very cold, wet and windy conditions great credit should go to both teams for producing an excellent game of football. This win secures the girls a semi-final spot in the autumn league-a worthwhile performance considering this is the first year we have fielded a team at this level. Club Day We had our club day in the Cush Inn on Sunday 9th November. Following on from the presentation of medals, the kids had a great evenings entertainment at an underage disco. It was very heartening to see so many people attending, with the highlight being the great display of dancing put on by the kids. Ger Harrison was DJ for the evening and he made sure that the entertainment was first class. Thanks to Pauric O Neill for coming along and making the presentations and being so patient signing autographs. Thanks are also due to the Cush Inn for sponsoring the food.
