New Derry manager Rory Gallagher.

As expected some managerial appointments, extensions etc took place tonight.

In Derry, Rory Gallagher got the nod, taking over from Damian McErlain. Gallagher packed in his Fermanagh role at the end of July and has now played in and managed five of the nine Ulster counties.

Following in the footsteps of Kerry legend Mick O Dwyer, Jack O Connor was ratified as the new Kildare supremo with Ross Glavin and Tom Cribben to act as his selectors.

Meanwhile down in the Banner, Colm Collins will again take charge of the county senior footballer's in 2020. Dermot Coughlan was apponted minor football boss.
