St Loman's manager Luke Dempsey believes that both teams' full forward lines will have a major bearing on Sunday's Leinster club SFC final against Moorefield.

The last provincial final of the year sees the Westmeath and Kildare champions head for Portlaoise this Sunday as the two form teams in the championship battle it out for the title.

Both sides have potent full forward lines and Dempsey feels that for the Westmeath champions to win the game, they need to hold Moorefield's full forward line, while their own inside trio must perform to their best.

"How we curb their experienced full forward line of Niall Hurley-Lynch, Cian O'Connor and Ronan Sweeney, and how our full forward line of Ken Casey, John Heslin and Shane Dempsey perform at the other end," Dempsey told the Westmeath Examiner when asked about where the game could be won and lost.

"We also need a good supply in the middle third. They are huge there and we will need to win breaks in that area. In Kildare, the whole county will be behind Moorefield and they will bring a massive crowd with them.

"St Loman's are Westmeath representatives and I would love to see a lot more flags and bunting in Mullingar, and hear a lot more talk about and interest in the final. We don't want to be outnumbered by four or five to one in Portlaoise."
