Pat Spillane has thrown his hat into the ring for the vacant Kerry U-21 football manager's job.
The RTE pundit has declared his interest in filling the void created by Darragh O Se's decision to step down following Wednesday's Munster semi-final defeat to Cork.
Eight-time All-Ireland winner Spillane wants to give something back to the Kingdom.
"I'd be very interested," he told The Irish Independent. "I was interested in it last year. I want to give something back.
Spillane managed Kenmare to their first Kerry U-21 title in 29 years last year but he may face competition from the likes of Seamus Moynihan, who was a selector with O Se, and All-Ireland winning senior and minor manager Jack O'Connor.
