Twenty-fifteen will see Kerry take part in the Hastings Cup for the first time.

The Kingdom are one of 16 counties due to participate in the prestigious U21 intercounty torunament, which commences on January 3rd - just three days after the training ban on county U21 sides is lifted!

Traditionally the domain of teams from around the midlands, the Hastings Cup has been expanded in recent years and the inclusion of Darragh O Se's team represents a major boost for the competition.

There will be four groups of four this year, with the top team in each section advancing to the semi-finals.

Kerry, who have failed to win a Munster U21 title since 2008, have been pitted in a tough group and will open their campaign against Roscommon on January 3rd before facing Cavan seven days later and Meath on the 17th, with all games to be played on neutral territory.
