Austin Stacks and Mid Kerry will do battle for the Moynihan Cup after enjoying comfortable victories over Dingle and Shannon Rangers respectively in Tralee this afternoon.

Stacks qualified for their second successive final thanks to a 2-13 to 1-9 win in the curtain-raiser. After an evenly contested opening quarter, the Tralee boys stepped on the gas and went on to lead by 1-11 to 0-4 at the break with Kieran Donaghy setting up Shane O'Callaghan for a goal and David Mannix, Michael Collins, Shane Carroll and Donaghy adding points.

A second Stacks goal from Darragh O'Brien early in the second half extended their lead to 2-12 to 0-5 before Paul Geaney pulled back a goal from the penalty spot for Dingle.

In the second part of the double-header, Mid Kerry laid the foundations for a 1-12 to 0-7 victory over Shannon Rangers in a one-sided first half when Darran O'Sullivan's goal helped them to a 1-5 to 0-0 interval lead.

Paul Kennelly eventually opened Rangers' account from a free, but Mid Kerry replied with points from Sean O'Sullivan, Gavan O'Grady and Liam Carey to run out easy winners.
