Lee Chin Wexford and Kerry's James O'Donoghue
Kerry's James O'Donoghue and Lee Chin of Wexford are the Opel GAA/GPA Players of the Month in football and hurling respectively.

The selections, chosen by the inter-county playing body, recognise the individual contributions made by both players for their respective counties during the month.

Wexford footballers' loss truly was the Model County hurlers' gain this season, as magic from the hard-working Lee Chin helped his county deliver some magnificent displays throughout the All-Ireland Qualifiers. With a historic win over reigning champions Clare, followed by a convincing victory over Waterford in Nowlan Park, the popular Faythe Harriers clubman has been recognized for his stand-out performances throughout the yellow bellies campaign.

Opel All-Star James O'Donoghue scored 0-10 points as Kerry retained the Munster Senior Football Championship crown, with a resounding 0-24 to 0-12 victory over Cork. Éamonn Fitzmaurice's side were rampant, but none more so than the returning Killarney Legion clubman. Starring in the inside attacking position, O'Donoghue served as the tormentor in chief, with his side now set to face Mayo in the All-Ireland semi-final.
