Cookstown Fr. Rocks' Brian Mulligan and Paul Galvin of Finuge. INPHO
The CCCC's investigation into the All-Ireland club IFC final has been closed.

No action will be taken against either Cookstown or Finuge after the GAA's investigating body was frustrated by a lack of evidence.

The investigation was launched three months ago amid claims and counter-claims from high-profile players who were involved in the Croke Park clash.

Tyrone's Owen Mulligan - who captained Fr Rock's to victory - claimed that members of his club had been subjected to sectarian abuse.

And Kerry's Paul Galvin said he had been spat on during the match, a claim which was seemingly backed up by footage leaked on YouTube.

But the former Footballer of the Year had "no interest" in taking the matter any further and the CCCC was unable to gather sufficient evidence to take any action.

Fr Rock's chairman Adrian Gilmore says the whole thing was "stoked up by elements of the southern media".
