Griffin backs O'Sullivan return

Kerry's Tom O'Sullivan
Tommy Griffin believes his former Kerry defensive colleague Tom O'Sullivan still has a lot to offer at the highest level.
Griffin announced his inter-county retirement earlier this year, but fellow veteran O'Sullivan has kept fans guessing as to what his intentions are as Kerry begin turning their thoughts to their Munster SFC opener against Tipperary on May 20.
"Tom always keeps himself in great shape and it doesn't take long for him to reach his top fitness," Griffin said of the five-time All-Ireland winning corner back in today's Irish Examiner.
"He is playing away with the club at the moment as well. There will always be a use for a player of Tom's calibre; whether he decides to come back or not is up to him.
"They have tried a few lads all over the back line and the management will be fairly happy with what they have seen. But it would be a huge asset to have Tom back. He is a man of great experience and his performances over the years speak for themselves.
"If he wants to play on, I am sure the management and the team would be delighted if he did come back."
