The Late Michael Rahilly

The death has occurred of Michael Rahilly of Chutehall, Ballymac on Saturday May 7 in his early 70s.

Mick played football with the Pariah Club in Ballymac where he was an outstanding goalie and saved many a score at a time when the goalie then had no protection, but he did not fear the forwards then.

He was part of that team that won three District Leagues in the Castleisland District. He also played in the Kerryman Shield, senior competition, also played in the Senior Football Championship.

They had a great South Kerry Team in 1962 and played against a great North Kerry team in the semi-final but were beaten. He was part of a great team that included the Leens, Bailys, Chutes and Slattery etc.

Our sympathy to his daughters, brothers and relatives and friends.

Ni beidh a leighead aris ann. Bennacht leat.
