SFC Round Three
August 27, 2010
A novel weekend lies ahead as we're set to witness Round Three of the Kerry SFC.
With the Kingdom out of contention for Sam Maguire at an uncharacteristically early stage, this will be the first time since 2003 that county championship action has been played in Kerry in August.
There are seven games down for decision to see who joins Kilcummin (who got a Bye) in the quarter-finals.
Dr Crokes are up against Kenmare on Saturday evening, while Mid Kerry will be confident of overcoming Rathmore in the second part of a double-header at Killorglin on Sunday.
The curtain-raiser on that double helping sees Laune Rangers host West Kerry. Feale Rangers are at home to Austin Stacks on Saturday evening and holders South Kerry should get past St Kieran's in Caherciveen on Sunday.
Club champions Kerins O'Rahillys face St Brendans in Austin Stack Park and the only all-club clash of the weekend features Dingle V St Michael/Foilmore.
