O'Sullivan demands improvement

August 09, 2010
Kerry O'Sullivan accepts that Kerry will need to improve on their All-Ireland JFC semi-final win over Lancashire if they are to overcome Kevin Walsh's Sligo in the final on Saturday week.

The Kingdom defeated the Exiles by 1-17 to 1-8 in Manchester on Saturday evening, but failed to impress despite enjoying numerical advantage after the home side had full forward Willie Ahern red-carded just before half-time.

"Any side that comes over here is going to have to work hard to earn their win," O'Sullivan said.

"I thought we were rusty at the start, but keep in mind it had been five weeks since the Munster final.

"The fact that the Sligo game is only two weeks away will help us, but we know the Sligo lads have trained with the seniors this year and will be a difficult proposition."
