Moynihan says deliveries hold the key to Kerry win

September 19, 2008
Former Kerry ace Seamus Moynihan says Kerry's chances of beating Tyrone in Sunday's All-Ireland SFC final is likely to hinge on the quality of the deliveries into target men, Kieran Donaghy and Tommy Walsh. "Whether it's pressure ball or kicked from too far behind - that will determine how the game will go," says the one-time star intercounty defender. "If Kerry kick long balls from the half-back line, that is not going to do. You'll be expecting way more work from the half-forward line from Kerry. "They'll not be kicking all high ball in, though, there has to be a variation as Tyrone will be too cute and will mop this up."
