O'Shea set to name side tonight
August 28, 2008
Kerry boss Pat O'Shea is set to name his first 15 for this Sunday's All-Ireland SFC semi-final replay with Cork at a the Kingdom's training session tonight (Thursday).
Playmaker Eoin Brosnan is heavily fancied to replace the suspended Darragh Ó Sé at centre-field, after coming on as a half-time substitute for Donncha Walsh last Sunday at Croke Park and making a positive impact. Brosnan also lined out at centre-field for his club side Dr Crokes during their march to the All-Ireland club final last year and is tipped as the most likely to partner Seamus Scanlon this Sunday.
There have also been suggestions that O'Shea may use 6'7'' Michael Quirke at some stage during Sunday's replay if help is needed for the All-Ireland Champions to win the battle around the middle third against the likes of Graham Canty and Alan O'Connor.
