Shane Ryan collects in front of Kerry's Tommy Griffin
Kerry defender Tommy Griffin believes that the All-Ireland Champions have plenty to work on over the coming days before they face Cork for the third time this summer on Sunday. Griffin, who was a surprise choice at full-back for the Kingdom's semi-final on Sunday, pointed out that despite plenty of thrill after the game at Croke Park on the Rebels behalf, Cork had not won the game and for the next couple of days Kerry will be focussing on doing that for themselves this time. "They didn't win the game," said Griffin, referring to Cork's late comeback. "We were eight points up on them in the Munster final and they beat us by five. After a game you are going to be disappointed when you throw away an eight-point lead. "We have a lot to work on this week before we go out again next Saturday or Sunday." Griffin and manager Pat O'Shea were the only two to speak to the media after yesterday's game on behalf of Kerry, indicating that things are to go quite in the Kingdom camp again this week.
