Kilgarvan were crowned Munster club junior 'B' football champions at the weekend to complete a clean sweep of provincial titles for Kerry.

With Dr Crokes, Kilcummin and Beaufort having claimed Munster senior, intermediate and junior 'A' honours in recent weeks, the pressure was on the small dual club to uphold the Kingdom's dominance and they didn't disappoint as they accounted for Cork's Ballinacurra on a 1-11 to 0-10 scoreline in Knockaderry.

Despite missing groin strain victim and Munster U20 Player of the Year Donal O'Sullivan, Kilgarvan never looked back after Daniel Casey's stunning goal helped them to a 1-2 to 0-0 lead after just 10 minutes. They went on to lead by 1-6 to 0-3 at the break and withstood a third quarter rally by Ballinacurra to celebrate a famous win.
