As proud sponsors of the GAA Minor Championships, Electric Ireland has long been a voice providing young Minor players with the recognition they deserve for their achievements both on and off the field. Electric Ireland understands that there is nothing minor about playing Minor.

As part of its #ThisIsMajor campaign, Electric Ireland has delved into the real lives of some of the Minor players, and their families, in order to tell their inspiring stories. With the Leaving Cert results out and CAO offers landing on Monday, Electric Ireland wanted to explore the additional pressures these young men face as they prepare to leave home for college, whilst maintaining the same level of dedication and passion for the sport they can't live without.

Ciaran Brady plays Minor football for Galway, and GAA runs deep in his veins. His mother Emily Furey has been at every game he has ever played. Electric Ireland's newest video in the #ThisIsMajor series looks at the special bond between this mother and son as Ciaran prepares for the Minor Football Quarter Final clash against Tipperary and his possible move to attend UCC in September for the next five years.

Throughout the Championship fans can follow the action, support the Minors and be a part of something major through the hashtag #ThisIsMajor.
