The Galway under-21 footballers must step up a gear if they are to defeat Roscommon in the Connacht final.

Following their 1-12 to 0-11 win over Mayo in last week's semi-final, Galway go into the provincial decider in a confident mood.

Nonetheless, they won't be taking a formidable Roscommon side for granted, after they hammered Sligo in the other semi-final.

Galway will work hard over the coming weeks and there are a few key areas that need to be addressed ahead of the final, but if they can sort out a few things, then they are capable of winning the title.
