Farragher keen to learn from mistakes

October 24, 2014

Corofin captain Michael Farragher believes that they are eager to make up for last year's Connacht club campaign.

The Galway champions lost the provincial decider by a point to Mayo's Castlebar Mitchels and Farragher stressed to the Connacht Tribune that defeat was driving them on this year.

"We're definitely training that little bit harder this year - everything is being covered. The management team are just class in the way that they lay out training; everything is just pure professional and we just want to go that little bit further than we did last year and that's the overall aim," said Farragher.

"We probably just took our eye off the ball last year; 14 wides against Castlebar didn't help either. It was massively hurtful to lose the way we lost last year and we just want to drive on now and see can we go further."
