Mulholland accentuates the positives

Galway manager Alan Mulholland believes his side can still reach the All-Ireland quarter-finals, despite their Connacht final loss to Mayo.

Mulholland declared himself satisfied with the Tribesmen's performance as they now turn their thoughts to an All-Ireland Qualifier fourth round clash with Tipperary.

"I don't think it will be difficult at all to get up for it. We accounted ourselves fairly well there," he said.

"It was a loss alright, but we'll take a lot of positives out of the game. The goal now is to keep going and try to get into an All-Ireland quarter-final."

He added: "Goals win games and it was 17 scores to 16. But we conceded three goals and didn't score any ourselves and that's the difference between the sides."
