Mulryan points to cool heads

The word 'panic' wasn't in the Galway U21 footballers' vocabulary, according to Cathal Mulryan.
The unheralded wing forward had a brilliant game against Cork at the Gaelic Grounds last Saturday night as the All-Ireland U21FC title came West for the second time in three years, and speaking to the Connacht Tribune afterwards, he enthused: "It was a great battle all over the field - Cork are a great team but we came out on top.
"We'd a good start. We are a calm team anyways and we've been calm all through the year, even when we're behind and we just took it in our stride. We were four points up at half-time and Alan (Flynn) just settled us down and we just took off from there again… it's just a great feeling.
"They're a great bunch of lads to play with, this is my first year to be playing with them. I just can't get over what just happened, I don't think it has hit me yet what happened."
