Thomas Flynn is hoping Galway can avenge their heart-breaking 2010 All-Ireland MFC semi-final defeat to Cork in tomorrow's All-Ireland U21FC final at the Gaelic Grounds.

In what was an amazing game at Croke Park, Galway put five goals past the Rebels, but still ended up losing.

"It was crazy stuff - it was my first time playing at Croke Park and the ball was just flying over our heads," the fit-again Galway midfielder explained to the Connacht Tribune.

"There was no structure to the game; it was all over the place and the amount of goals… We were nine points up with 10 minutes to go and then to lose by a point was a killer."

The 6'6" colossus is delighted to be back after being sidelined with a knee injury for nine months.

"I was out for just under nine months - it was tough. I'd never experienced anything like that before. Going to training, I was never used to not playing. I had to put a brave face on it," he added.
