Open evening for all Galway supporters
May 10, 2012This will be an exciting evening for all Galway GAA Supporters where you can meet all our players as well participate in other exciting activities.
In addition this will be an opportunity for the local press, and radio as well as the general public, to meet with the management teams and players from the Galway Senior Football and Hurling Teams.
School children and their parents from all schools in the county have been invited to come to the evening and in particular, we encourage players and their parents living in the City and suburbs to come along and meet the players.
Have your face painted in the county colours; meet the Galway Senior Football and Hurling teams; Get Autographs and jerseys signed. Have you photograph taken with your favorite player. Test yourself with the basic skills of Gaelic games as the Galway GAA coaches put you through your paces. Watch the Galway Senior Football and Hurling teams as they train and play in a novelty game.
The format of the evening will be as follows;
7pm to 7.45pm
Press and Radio Media meet Team Management and Players.
7.30pm to 8.15pm.
Members of the public will have the opportunity to meet and greet the County Players on take part in activities on the pitch.
8.15pm to 8.45pm
Watch the County football team play hurling and the Hurlers play football in a novelty training session and game on the main pitch.
