Walsh Cup: Tribes trounce Laois

Galway saw off Laois with ease at Ballinasloe on Sunday to claim a place in the decider against All Ireland Champions Kilkenny this weekend.
The home side led at the interval 0-9 to 0-5. Within the first minute of the restart, James Regan hammered home the first of goals giving Laois 'keeper Eoin Reilly no chance.
Approaching the 50th minute mark, a Galway victory was well and truly clear when Joe Canning, who top scored with 1-10, got their second goal after good stick work from Damien Hayes and Tony Óg Regan.
Final score: Galway 2-19 Laois 0-11.
