Ballygar Hurling Club would like to thank all our supporters who travelled to Nenagh on Sunday. It was a wonderful atmosphere and the noise generated by our support was most uplifting. The work in decorating the parish was phenomenal, it was very inspiring for all involved as we travelled through the parish on Sunday morning to see the effort people had gone to. While we did not win, the team did the club proud and never gave in, putting in a remarkable second half performance. This was a very special occasion for our club. The club would also like to thank the players and management for their commitment for the whole campaign. Training started in early February 2011 and ended last Saturday over 100 sessions were held and all were well attended. The players and management would like to thank their families and loved ones for their help and support through out the campaign. The club officers put in hours of work through out the year to ensure smooth running of the campaign and the club in general and for this they deserve great credit. The panel left Nenagh in an upbeat manor and are looking forward to having a successful 2012. Thanks lads for an unforgettable 2011, ye did yourselves proud. Tweet
