Michael Martin will make his national football league debut for Galway on Sunday.

The former minor star will be handed a baptism of fire as he comes into the team at corner forward for the all-Connacht Division One clash against Mayo.

Unveiling his first NFL starting XV, new Tribesmen supremo Joe Kernan also hands starts to David O'Neill and Paddy Kennedy at corner back and wing forward respectively.

On the downside, esperienced quartet Pádraic Joyce, Barry Cullinane, Matthew Clancy and Fiachra Breathnach are all out.
